Please do tut 8 and 9 for DD by Friday. And there is no school tomorrow(PCT and DD is online), unless you have elective. For PCT projects, the groupings will follow DD and the group numbers accordingly. So therefore your projects are already assigned(see the document I posted earlier on or download it http://www.angelfire.com/linux/ashlar/pctcases.doc) Group 1(XC grp) will take 1, Grp 2(Jasper's grp) 3, Grp 3(Natasha's) 6, Grp 4(ET's) take 8 or 9.

Personal note: World Cup finals is on Sunday morning 2am. Would you guys like to watch together somewhere? Feedback lol.

Singapore Buddhist Lodge Bursary Awards 2006/2007

Application Period:

27 June to 11 July 2006

Eligibility:

i) Applicants must be Singapore Citizen or PR.

ii) Applicants must be of good conduct. Recommendation letter(s) from the student's PEM or lecturer(s) is required.

iii) Only financially needy students need apply.

iv) Applicants must have achieved good results for the last examinations which they sat for. v) Applicants must not be in receipt of any other bursary awards.

Quantum: S$1000

Application Procedures:

Students are required to submit the following documents in an envelope at Student Services Centre (Blk A Level 2):

a. Photocopy of student's Birth Certificate and NRIC

b. Photocopy of Birth Certificates and NRICs of ALL family members

c. Photocopy of last academic year??s examination results (for 1st year students- copy of entry qualifications)

d. Proof of family income (Pay slip, Statutory Declaration for those self employed or unemployed, divorced mother to state amount of monthly maintenance from ex-husband)

e. Photocopy of deceased/divorced certificates, medical documents of parents, if applicable

f. Recommendation letter(s) from the student's PEM or lecturer(s)

Important Notes :

a. Once the students have submitted the required documents at Student Services Centre, Registrar's Office will contact those suitable candidates to collect the application forms.

b. Applicants are allowed to apply at the same time for financial assistance during the on-line exercise from 26/06/06 to 28/07/06 provided they meet the set criteria. However successful applicants will only be granted one award at any time of AY 2006/2007. 5.

Financial Assistance Scheme

2. MAIN CRITERIA : Full-time Diploma students with gross monthly family income of less than $1700. (Sponsored students are not eligible.)

4. Kind of Awards : Students may check the pool of awards for this exercise on NYP website at http://www.nyp.edu.sg/NYPStudents/financialmatters_sub_page.html --> Click on Bursaries or Scholarships Awards will be given out subject to students?? meeting the individual award criteria, submission of supporting documents and on availability.

5. Publicity to Students Students will be informed of this exercise via their student email accounts, NYP website, plasma screen displays and posters on the Notice Boards at the different schools, SA Office and the Registrar's Office. We seek your support to further advise and encourage the needy students in your PEM groups to put in their applications early (from 26 June 06 onwards).

6. More Information Students can refer to the Registrar's Office Notice Board (Blk A Level 2, outside shopping arcade) for more information on the Application Exercise. An FAQ list has also been distributed to your school admin office to help with some general student enquiries.
