Friday, July 07, 2006Burseries(Malaysians only) Kuok Foundation Educational Assistance AY2006/2007 Application period: 07 Jul to 08 Aug 06 Eligibility: i) Applicants must be Malaysian citizens. ii) Students must have good academic results and should be active in the Polytechnic. iii) Only financially needy students need apply. iv) Students must not be in receipt of any other scholarship or bursary awards. v) Shortlisted applicants are required to attend interviews in Kuala Lumpur (date and time to be advised by Kuok Foundation at a later date). Quantum: Full loan OR half loan-half grant study award ; up to RM12,000 per annum; Loan portion of the study award is interest-free and is repayable by monthly instalments upon graduation. Forms: Limited application forms are obtainable at Student Services Centre (Blk A, Level 2) . Once these forms have run out, students may request a copy from Kuok Foundation directly by: A. Self-Collection Kuok Foundation Berhad, Diploma Awards (Polytechnics in Singapore) 14th Floor, Wisma Jerneh 38 Jalan Sultan Ismail 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia B. By Post In order for Kuok Foundation to post a copy to interested students, students must send the following items to Kuok Foundation at the above address: - A letter to request for a copy of the application form AND - A copy of applicant??s latest examination results (SPM/Polytechnic results or equivalent) AND - A stamped (S$0.50) self-addressed white envelope (16cm x 23cm) Application Procedures: Students are required to submit the duly completed form and required supporting documents at Student Services Centre by Tues, 08 Aug 06.
